Installing CyberSentinel on a single device


Below are the instructions for installing CyberSentinel on a single device:

  1. Visit our InsurTechnix Admin Portal - you will be presented with our login screen.
  2. If you already have an InsurTechnix account, enter your email address and password. If you do not have a password, choose the option to 'Create an account'.
  3. Once you have successfully logged in, click on the 'Download CyberSentinel' link, you will be prompted to save the install file to a chosen location on your device.
  4. When the install file has been successfully downloaded to your device, choose to run it in order to start the CyberSentinel installation.
  5. Follow the easy step-by-step instructions and CyberSentinel will be installed on your device - you will only need to install CyberSentinel once, all updates will take place automatically, with no disruption to your device or interruption to the CyberSentinel scanning process.
  6. As soon as the CyberSentinel is installed, you will begin to see data on your dashboard in the Admin portal, and a security status on your device.

Installing CyberSentinel on multiple devices


Should you need to install CyberSentinel on multiple devices you have two options, you can either repeat the process above for each device, or if you have a systems administrator or other IT staff member, you can refer them to the instructions for installing CyberSentinel on multiple devices below:

  1. Visit our InsurTechnix Admin Portal - you will be presented with our login screen.
  2. If you already have an InsurTechnix account, enter your email address and password. If you do not have a password, choose the option to 'Create an account'.
  3. Once you have successfully logged in, download the appropriate version of CyberSentinel (32-bit or 64-bit) for the devices in your organisation. Older computers may need the 32 bit version.
  4. You will be prompted to save the install file to a chosen location.
  5. When the install file has been successfully downloaded you can deploy the CyberSentinel across an entire Windows Active Directory domain using a group policy object (GPO).
  6. As soon as the CyberSentinel is installed, you will begin to see data on your dashboard in the Admin portal, and a security status on your device.
